郴州區位獨特，通衢四方。郴州是湖南的南大門和對接粵港澳的“橋頭堡”。隨著高鐵時代的來到，郴州已經融入珠三角，長株潭兩大城市群“一小時經濟圈”，亦進入了與長沙、武漢、和廣州、深圳的“同城時代”。

Chenzhou is known as the “ South Gateway” to Hunan Province and”the “ Bridgehead” of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau for its unique location in Southern China. 根據湖南省會展業發展規劃（2013-2020年），郴州國際會展中心是湖南大湘南板塊中唯一的大型會展中心，也是目前湖南省規模最大、功能最全、專業水平最高的展館之一，不僅可以進行商品展銷、商貿洽談、還具備舉辦大型會議、宴會、集會、慶典活動等功能。

According to the development plan of the convention and exhibition industry of Hunan Province (2013-2020), Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is the onIy exhibition venue in Xiangnan (southern Hunan) , It ranks among the largest, most advanced and sophisticated ven ues in Hunan Province. It is suitable for hosting not only trade exhibitions and conferences, but also large-scale conventions, banquet, events and ceremonies.

郴州國際會展中心位于郴州市城東新區郴州大道旁。整個建筑群體連綿起伏，既體現郴州山巒疊翠，水網交融的地理特征，又象征著郴州百舸爭流，海納百川的宏大氣魄。會展中心將成為郴州推動"兩城"建設的標志性建筑群和旅游觀光景點之一，對加快郴州經濟社會發展，進一步提高對外開放水平，增強城市吸納輻射能力，提升城市品位和知名度，推動區域經濟快速發展具有十分重要的作用和意義。

郴州位處高鐵沿線，往來深圳、廣州及長沙均極方便。由深圳北站至郴州西站只需約2小時，由廣州南站或長沙南站至郴州西站均只需約1.5小時。由郴州西站至郴州國際會展中心，車程只需約20分鐘。

Chenzhou lies along the high speed rail route and is easily accessible from Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Changsha It takes a little over two hours from Shenzhen North Station and less than one and a half hours from Guangzhou South Station or Changsha South Station to Chenzhou West Station. From Chenzhou West Station to Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, driving time is about 20 minutes only
